About the Chapter

The purpose of the Massachusetts Chapter of the American College of Cardiology is to foster the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular diseases by promoting scientific interaction and educational activities among cardiovascular specialists in Massachusetts. The Chapter also functions as resource for local and state governmental and professional organizations concerning issues related to cardiovascular disease. The Chapter also works in conjunction with the American College of Cardiology on cardiovascular issues on the national level, including education, advocacy and quality issues. The ultimate goal of the Chapter and the ACC is to insure the highest possible quality and availability of cardiovascular health care.
